Due to the location of the villa, you have the advantage of staying close to the south coast of Crete where you can find some of the most amazing natural beaches in the whole Greece.

The closest is Ammoudi beach which is only 4 km away from the villa and Ammoudaki beach 4.6 km away from the villa. Moreover, the closest organised beach of Plakias is only 6 km away. Plakias beach is one of the most famous and longest sandy beaches in South Crete (1.3km length). It is a well-organized beach with many sunbeds & umbrellas as well as sea sports like scuba diving, windsurfing etc. The road along the beach is ideal for walking or cycling.

In addition the beaches of “Schinaria”, “Damnoni”, “Triopetra”, “Agios Pavlos” and “Preveli" are only some of our suggestions which are located close!

All the above beaches are organized but you can also easily find isolated beaches where you would be alone.

From the working harbour, there are several boat trips to other beaches and villages along the south coast. Activities, such as scuba diving, are available in Plakias.
